It is comforting to remember that nothing about our struggles is a surprise to God. I am beginning to understand that whatever he allows in my life has the potential to increase my trust in him. What is occupying a disproportionate place in your thoughts? What has you worried or sidetracked? Name it. Call it out and say, “I am placing you where you belong, beneath the authority of Christ himself.” It may not go away. But it cannot have first place.
