Lorenzo Albacete Cintrón (1941–2014) was a Puerto Rican theologian, author, priest, and scientist. Born in San Juan, he studied in Washington, DC, earning his master’s degree in space science and applied physics from Catholic University. After becoming a Roman Catholic priest, he eventually became one of the leaders in the United States for the international Catholic movement Communion and Liberation.
