Laura R. Eckman was born and raised in a small town just north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A multilingual poet, she has written and published in both English and BCS (Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian). She currently lives in southern Europe, where she works for a foundation that offers language classes and seminars, and also promotes the arts.
