Alice Pistolesi is a freelance journalist with a degree in political science and international studies from the University of Pisa. She is based in Italy but travels globally for her reporting. In particular, she focuses on the conditions of oppressed populations claiming autonomy or self-determination, and on environmentalist and feminist protest movements. She is editor of the project “Atlas of Wars and Conflicts in the World” and of the Atlanteguerre.it website.
