Dr. Israel Steinmetz is Dean of Graduate Studies and Associate Professor of Practical Theology at The Bible Seminary in Katy, Texas. He has previously served as a church administrator, a pastor, and a civilian chaplain working with the US Navy. He has authored or coauthored five books and over one hundred articles for various magazines. He holds a Bachelor of pastoral ministry (Christ for the Nations Institute), master of divinity (Regent University), master of the arts in theological studies (Nazarene Theological Seminary), and doctor of ministry (Fuller Theological Seminary). Israel resides in Brookshire, Texas, with his wife, Anna, and their nine children.
