Roger Scruton is a writer and philosopher who has published more than fifty books on philosophy, aesthetics, and politics. A fellow of both the British Academy and the Royal Society of Literature, he teaches at the University of Buckingham, England, and is a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, DC.
