On August 24, 2021, Plough held the award ceremony for its first annual Rhina Espaillat Poetry Award in a live-streamed event with Rhina P. Espaillat and Plough poetry editor A. M. Juster. We announced the winning poet and finalists, who read their poems. Watch the event below.
Plough’s 2021 Rhina P. Espaillat Poetry Award competition attracted over 500 poems. The 2022 competition is now open. The overall winner receives $2000 and two runners up receive $250. All three will be published in Plough. Go to the Rhina P. Espaillat Poetry Award page to submit your poems.
