The 2022 Annual Meetings, hosted by the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) and the American Academy of Religion (AAR), is the world’s largest gathering of scholars interested in the study of religion.
Focused on the fields of biblical research, religious studies, and theology, this meeting brings together professors and students, authors and publishers, religious leaders and interested laypersons, to its venue each year. Attendees of the event will have access to more than 1,200 academic sessions and workshops. The Exhibit Hall features one of the world’s largest collections of books and digital resources for biblical study, as well as more than 100 publishers exhibiting in a networking space where attendees can pitch ideas to publishers, browse the latest publications, and connect with colleagues.
