On May 28 Plough will announce and introduce the winning poet and two finalists, who will read and discuss their poems in a live virtual event with Rhina P. Espaillat, the beloved Dominican-American poet for whom the award is named.
Plough’s fourth annual Rhina Espaillat Poetry Award competition attracted over 800 poems. The overall winner receives $2000 and two runners-up receive $250. All three are published in Plough Quarterly. Go to the Rhina Espaillat Poetry Award page to submit your poems for next year’s award.
