Ivanka Demchuk recreates scenes from scripture and church history, using both modern and ancient artistic techniques while retaining the aesthetic of classic iconography. Born in Lviv, Ukraine, where she still lives with her family, Demchuk graduated from the Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Art in 2008, and went on to receive a masters degree with honors from the sacral arts department in Lviv National Academy of Arts in 2014.
